Jim Malley
James E. Malley has been with The Daily Times for more than 40 years. With a working knowledge of most newspaper departments, especially the press, production and advertising, he was named General Manager by the Small Newspaper Group in 1992. The newspaper, which can trace its roots back to 1844, employs a total of 105 full and part time employees. Jim, born and raised in Ottawa, also raised three children here with his wife, Sandy. Jim has been involved in numerous community and service organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for Community Hospital of Ottawa for six years. Besides being on the Chamber Board, he currently is on the Friendship Village Board.
