Sandy Burkart
Sandy Teausant Burkart has worked at Financial Plus Credit Union for 26 years, and is Vice-President of Marketing. She is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and a 1986 graduate of the Credit Union National Association Management School in Madison, Wisconsin. Burkart received a Certified Credit Union Executive designation in 1989. Within Sandy’s Credit Union career, she has served on the Tri-County Chapter of Credit Union’s Board of Directors for many years, and was chosen as the first Credit Union Executive Society’s Marketer of the Year in 1998 for the State of Illinois. She serves on the Illinois Credit Union League’s I-CARE Advisory Board. During her marketing career, Burkart has received over 22 state and national marketing awards. She has also served on the local Crimestoppers Board for many years, and been very involved in community fundraisers. Sandy and her husband Gerry reside in Ottawa, Illinois.
