Steve Conrad
Steve Conrad was born and raised in Ottawa. He attended Ottawa public and Catholic schools. He graduated from OTHS in 1976 and attended IVCC from 1977 -1980. Steve went into apprenticeship training in the cement masonry trade. He has been employed in the cement mason trade by several employers in the last 28 years. He has worked with Local 11 Plasterer and Cement Mason Union Representative for LaSalle Bureau & Putnam Counties since June of 1996. He has held various leadership positions in our community: Board Seats: Habitat for Humanity (former); Workforce Investment Board; Illinois Valley Labor/Management Board; Illinois Valley Building Trades; Local 11 Plasterer and Cement Mason Joint Apprenticeship Trustee; Illinois Valley Cement Mason Pension Trustee; Local 11 Executive Board; Chairman, Local 11 PAC committee. Married to Sheila. One Child, Ashley, 19.
