Members of the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce are vital participants in shaping the future of Ottawa. Through the Chamber's many business and community events and programs, the organization encourages member involvement. Together, the membership is the collective voice of the business community, progressing into the future with goals of economic vitality, prosperity and an enhanced quality of life.

Here are some of our existing teams/committees:
- Economic Development Task Force: Has the objective of creating and maintaining jobs by assisting with new industrial inquiries and working with existing industrial manufacturers on their needs and wants.
- Member Services Team: Has the objective of adding value to the Chamber membership through services, programs and resources while retaining and growing the membership.
- Public Policy Team: Has the objective of serving as a non-partisan action committee. It serves our members by researching issues and providing information that is of importance to the Chamber’s membership.
